A blog by two cats who used to live in the same house in Northern Virginia. Unfortunately, they are both no longer with us.
Jake: I was a nearly 15 year old tabby who commanded and demanded attention. I used to love to hang around on my deck outside. I developed cancer and died February 5, 2009. I didn't like my sister because she was cranky. Bathsheba: I was a polydactyl 18 year old dilute tortie and white. I used to be a big hunter in my day, but I retired when I went deaf. I developed a rapidly spreading cancer that affected my appetite and I died in the garden in November 2009. I loved my mom the best. Jake was a constant annoyance, but I missed him when he was gone. For a short while I contended with that bothersome kitten Emerson who is now my legacy to the cat blogosphere.

I am vary sorry yoo are feeling so sad. Mr TF is feeling vary sad, too, so it's gloomy heer as well. And the rane hasn't helpt matters any. Rats. I wish I cood do sumthing to cheer evrybuddy up! Hang in thare... yer my best frends!!!

Awwwww, I wish that I could tell your Mommy something that would make her feel better. Maybe Daisy's song helped a little - even if her pitch isn't purrfect!

I am sending a transatlantic big purr to your mummy all the way from Portsmouth in England. Sometimes my mummy gets a bit sad, thats when I gif her extwa luffs. It neerly always helps.
We're sorry your mum is going through a sad time, and we hope things soon start to feel better for her. You both have to give her extra cuddles, and here's some (((hugs))) from us.
