Tuesday Treat Time for Tortie and Tabby
In our house we have a bedtime ritual. Mom climbs into bed, reaches into the nightstand drawer, and pulls out a package of Temptations to give us a snack. Here we are waiting for her to go to bed. She is trying to use the Temptations to get us closer together. She sometimes will hold that treat out for me very close to Jake. Oh, how I hate to be near him, but those Temptations are so yummy that occasionally I might even --shudder--touch him. Mom's great desire is to have both of us sleep on the bed with her. I already do that, and I do NOT want to share with Jake. Dad had him well trained to stay off the bed because Dad did not like to sleep with cats. (Can you imagine?) Mom used to go to bed before Dad and I would sleep with her until I would be kicked out when Dad came to sleep. Being able to sleep with Mom all night long is the only positive result of Dad's move to California.

Bedtime Temptations is a very wonderful ritual. I might ask my Mommie to start it in my house! I love sleeping on the bed, and sometimes I sleep on my Mommie's head. But Pixie sleeps downstairs.
We have not been visiting around much. Wowie we miss a lot of posties over here!
WE love our daily routine. mom forgets but we never do. Prinnie wears a secret watch so she knows the time when we are supposed to get the attention we deserve.

Hmm, that bed looks like it wood be big enuff fur yoo, yer mom and Jake. Maybe Jake will get over da "no cats in bed" thing. We all try to sleep in da big bed but dad thrashes around so much dat even mom gets up and leaves.
You know, that's the way it is for me. I snooze with the woman but the Male kicks me out of bed for bathing! Can you imagine! He thinks I'm noisy!
Arh...but aren't beds for us cats? I thought the beans were just shawing with us and we awwow them on it onwy because we're just so nice.
Momma always gives us a bedtime snack too. WE love our temptations. Unfortunately for me, Boo is the only kitty allowed in the bedroom, Momma sayz if I came in we would fight all night long and she would never sleep. As it is she says Boo keeps her so warm at night she keeps her awake. Boo is a like a warm blanket of furr wrapped around you!
I still don't like not being able to sleep with Momma. No matter how many temptations she gives me.

Yer lukky. The food dood put the hammer down on letting us sleep with him becuz THE STOOPID WITE RAT is sqwermy and burrows way under the cuvvers and the food dood is afrade he'll role over on him. Like that wood be such a bad thing.
It's a very good thing that we have a King sized bed 'cause 4 kitties and a doggy take up lots of space! Truth is that Powder sleeps ON Mommy and I sleep next to (read ON) Daddy's head. Puff and Rudy sprawl out in the center and suck up all the heat. The Dog prefers the foot of the bed, I think he's scared we'll whap him! (Smart dog!)
Our bean wants to know if the Temptations work becuz she wud lik all us to get along and sleep in the bed together too! Kosmo finks Jake looks like him, is Jake part Bengal?
We're glad our treats dont come with "condishuns", but we like to sleep together an with The Big Thing, so that's not a problem.

Wow! You guys sound like me and stinky boy Guy. I sleep in bed with Ma- Guy tries to but I wont let him. Ma is mine. When he jumps into the bed I hiss and bite him. Ma is always trying to get us to get along. Come on Ma its been 4 years it aint gonna happen. Humans never get it.

That's a nice ritual. We don't have anything like that.
we get Temptations before bed too. see, the Lady sleeps on the couch in the living room and Midnight waits till she sees her bringing out the blankets and pillows to make her bed, then she jumps right into the middle of it all and won't move. so now the Lady gives us a bunch of Temptations in the kitchen, then hurries to get her bed made while we eat so she can get there before Midnight. then Midnight walks all over her demanding petting for 10 minutes, then goes to sleep on her legs. next Cocoa jumps up and cuddles up against the Lady's chest and face. I sleep with the Blonde Girl in the Blonde Girl's bedroom.

If Jake were to sleep by yer ladys head and yoo were to sleep by yer ladys feets than yoo two wouldn't be touching and yoo two wuld be far enuff away frum eachothur.
What a grate bedtime richual yoo have...how did yoo trane hur to give yoo treets at nite cause we wanna get sum treets at nite too!
