Mischief for Man Cat Monday

I was enjoying a perfectly peaceful late Sunday afternoon in my yard when a stalker/photographer spotted me.

Uh-oh. She's creeping in for a close-up view.

Now, as a Man Cat, I don't have to put up with stalkers. I'm going to give her the slip by going into my jungle, getting on the Jake Highway

and slipping through the Jake Passageway.

My Dad made me this passageway when he built the fence. "Mr. Stuff,"* the neighbor who lives on the other side now, put this ladder on his side of the fence, but that doesn't deter this Man Cat.

Here I am in Stuff's backyard. My stalker does not have a telephoto lens, so chalk one up to the Man Cat.
~Jake
*Named because he has so much stuff/junk in his backyard--though not much is visible in the photo here.

Your yard looks really nice!
But man, I tell you, those stalkers must be everywhere! I have a couple here too!!! And somehow it seems as if they try to get me in my most embarrassing moments.....

Mr. Stuff must have relatives across the street from us! Good thing you have a passageway to escape those stalkers.

That's a great passageway. Our human grandfather built such a passage when he put up a block wall because the cat next door had arthritis. This way he could come into our yard where he liked to snooze!

He had to brick it back in when the other cat's family moved though... ah well.

Ooh, we envy yer fence hole so much! We can't get thru ours very easy. LC can jump up to the top an down, but its hard. I have to find where rabbits an groundiehogs dig under. An The Big Thing keeps blockin those places!

Jake, you are a very brave Mancat, to venture outside like that. Both of those yards look very nice. Those are some great photos of you too.

What a great little passageway you got there, Jake! That was not very nice of Mr. Stuff to put a ladder there. Have fun on the Jake Highway!

Nice photos Jake. You have a lot of fallen leaves where you live.
I like your secret passageway but don't go too far from home or you might get lost! I do not like to go out of my own garden.

Haha, I like how Mr. Stuff tries to keep you out, not too smart are those humans? Fall looks great in your yard.

Your backyard looks like great fun. I'm not allowed to walk freely in my yard. I really like the Jake Passageway. You are definitely quite the Man Cat today!
