You Be the Judge!
There was a lonely leftover homemade biscuit on the table last night. Mom neglected to wrap it up and put it away after dinner. This morning it looked like this:
The top half was eaten and there were crumbs all over the placemat.
So, it's up to our friends to decide who is the guilty party.
Is it cute little Jake? (I'm INNOCENT, I tell you! ~Jake)
(Yeah, give us the old eye squeeze to try to disarm the jurors, Jake! ~Bathsheba)
Or shy little Bathsheba?
(I don't do such things! ~Bathsheba)
(I think she looks ashamed. ~Jake)

hmmmmm ... i think it wuz a cooperativ effort ... i think both jake an da luvlee bathsheba did da job together.
Your Mpm did it. She was sleepwalking and wandered in there and nibbled on the biscuit and just doesn't remember. But you don't have to tell her you both licked it before she got to it...
What a grate game...but this is an easy one...
Yoo say it was at nite. It was obviously the things that move arownd at the foot of the peeple bed when the peeple are in it. We've tried to catch them TONS of times but thay get away!! Thay must have been vary hungry last nite.
Yer off the hook, Jake and B'Sheba!
I think it must have been an Evil Intruder Kitty who got in somehow and did the deed. I know that neither of you would do such a thing.
Well I am kinda leaning to what everyone else is saying. I am thinking it was the both of you. I just hope who ever it was enjoued it.

I think it's a frame up! You're both innocent and someone who loves biscuits came in and snacked...
It was the mouse in the house. So in a sense, it was both of your fault, for not getting the mouse! Tara
It was me...I confess...I ate the biscuit.
It was the overnight biscuit thief. Comes in the middle of the night and takes food. No way it could be a either Jake or Bathsheba. Not Guilty for both of you.
Yay! Thanks to all your comments, Mom, the ultimate judge, has declared that there is more than reasonable doubt so we are NOT GUILTY!

It was a mouse! It's a good fing you saw it an chased it away, or it woulda eaten the whole biskit an brought back baby mouses for more!
Yay for reasonable doubt! Yer Mommie is a very fair judge.
It couldn't be my sweet honey, Jake ... So it must have been Bathsheba who ate the biscuit top and left crumblies on the placemat.

kitties don't eat biscuits. your mom remembered that she hadn't put it away and got up for a snack, but then only ate half of it because she realized it needed butter and didn't feel like going to the trouble of getting out the butter and a knife.
Personally I don't think either one of you are guilty. I think your mom did it in her sleep!
