Man Cat Monday - Leaves

Mom went away for Thanksgiving, and while she was gone, the weather turned sharply colder and most of our trees finally lost their leaves.
Just look at my side yard! You can hardy see the grass underneath all those maple leaves. Somebody's got a lot of work ahead.

But it's not me. Being a MAN cat, I think I hear a football game calling to me on the TV. I'll let Mom work on these leaves.

Yes, that is the manly thing to do...watch football and let the woman do all the work. Of course, the fact we have no opposable thumbs is also a good excuse.

Isn't it your job to make a mess of those leaves just when she gets them all raked up?

Oh that looks like a lot of fun to play in those leaves! We like to watch them blow around the yard but we are not alowed out to play in them. So jealous.

Oh my!! That is a load of leaves! The Tall Man blew and raked our leaves yesterday. The LL helped him take them to the curb but apparently didn't thank him enough for his hard work...sheesh, men. I hope your mom took some breaks from all of those leaves!

Yep, you're a true mancat, Jake. Uh ... but with no opposable thumbs, how do you operate the remote control? Let me know, buddy, because I have a terrible time with those buttons!

Wow Jake, your yard looks like ours. All the leafs came down this weekend and Dad is moaning about spending all weekend raking and bagging. A nap sounds much better than all that work!

At first glance I didn't even see you in the leaves. You nicely blend into the leaves.
