Thursday Thirteen - Great Places to Nap
These are our 13 favorite places to take a nap:
- In my comfy cat bed out on the deck (Jake)
- Under the bushes in the summertime (J&B)
- On top of the outside cat stand/scratching post (Jake)
- Mom or Dad's cushiony deck chairs (J&B)
- In front of the big screen cat TV (mostly Bathsheba, but occasionally Jake)
- On the kitchen chairs (Bathsheba)
- On top of Dad's legs when he's stretched out on the couch (mostly Jake, but occasionally Bathsheba)
- On my throne in the cat/computer room (Jake)
- On Mom and Dad's bed (Bathsheba)
- In front of the fireplace when it's cold outside and Dad has a nice hot fire burning (Jake)
- In the middle of the carpet where I dare Mom or Dad to trip over me (Jake)
- Next to Mom's dirty clothes pile (Jake)
- On the sofa curled up by the pillows and afghans (mostly Jake)
As you can see from this long list, Jake sleeps practically anywhere. I have more definite preferences.

Oh wow, we thawt we wure the onlie ones who luved to sleep in the dirty cloths pile. Its the onlie advantage of owr lady consistantlie coming home late frum work....the dirty clothes pile gets even biggur!!
That's a GOOD LIST! Jake, if yoo sit on a throne, yoo git to ware a TIARA!!!
BTW, we prefer the kleen klothes pile, win thare just owt of the dryer. Me and my big bruther Mao go in and burrow into the warm clothes wich kreates problims win I have poop on my feets.
I think I'd go with 7, 9 & 13 as my favorites. Of course, not being allowed out, we can't comment on some of the other choices.
