Easy Like Sunday Morning
Here we are relaxing on the bed while Mom reads the Sunday newspaper.
(Note from the Mom: This lasted all of five minutes. Bathsheba was on the bed with me as she often is, then Jake jumped up and made himself comfortable on top of me. Even though there was plenty of room, and no touching involved between the cats, Bathsheba got mad and left. I'm just glad I had the camera within reach to capture the moment-literally.)

I like to get unner the kwilt and snuggle wiv mum. Sumtimes Eric jumps on the bed and flattens me, then I leave in a huff too.

Your situation is so close to mine, I am glad to see it isn't just me. i was getting a bit of a complex. I am saddled with a cranky ol' bat too.
Well, it was a nice moment, while it lasted. Jake looks so self-satisfied!
Oh Jake I've been really snuggly like that too! Meowmy says its no longer a surprise, she says I'm going to have to change and admit to all of my friends that I love to snuggle. Laps are good.
