About Me
- Name: Jake and Bathsheba
- Location: Virginia, United States
Jake: I was a nearly 15 year old tabby who commanded and demanded attention. I used to love to hang around on my deck outside. I developed cancer and died February 5, 2009. I didn't like my sister because she was cranky. Bathsheba: I was a polydactyl 18 year old dilute tortie and white. I used to be a big hunter in my day, but I retired when I went deaf. I developed a rapidly spreading cancer that affected my appetite and I died in the garden in November 2009. I loved my mom the best. Jake was a constant annoyance, but I missed him when he was gone. For a short while I contended with that bothersome kitten Emerson who is now my legacy to the cat blogosphere.

I don't think I could resist if I got that close to a birdyhouse.

Wow that's a nice bird house. It's too bad there were no birdies for you to visit with.
Nice climbing Jake. It's a pity no birdies were home.
Bathseba - Bubbles also whish you could have visited, but he doesn't like traveling either, so he understands.
You did a great job stalking that bird house, too bad no birds were home!
The woofies are in the backyard across the street. I like to sniff their noses from the front yard, my lead is just long enough to make it. They like to sniff me too, and they never bark at me!

Trying to get into the birdie house? I bet it smelled very interesting!
Those birds were smart to run away before the Mighty Hunter got there!
We have birdie houses that look like that, 'cept I never get to look in them! I'm so jealous.
